Most people start with one free conversation, then settle into one of these rhythms.

You don't need to decide in advance which is right. We'll find that together in your first conversation.

I have a particular heart for those serving in ministry or on the mission field. If that is your context, please mention it in your inquiry — I'm eager to make this work as accessible as I can for those who serve.

Ongoing — once a month

Monthly direction

Length: Sixty minutes
Format: Online (Zoom) or in person in Atlanta
Best for: Those settled into the rhythm or wanting to begin one. A patient cadence for the long work of noticing.

The classic rhythm of spiritual direction. A steady, held space across whatever your life is becoming.

We meet for about an hour, roughly once a month. Most directees stay for at least a year — long enough for the slow patterns to surface — and many stay longer.

Between sessions, there is no homework, no required reading, no particular practice you must adopt. The work is mostly the gentle, ongoing noticing you carry with you into the rest of the month.

Once we begin, we keep a regular slot. You can pause or step away with grace at any time.

Three to five focused sessions

Discernment series

Length: Sixty minutes each, weekly or biweekly

Best for: A particular question pressing on you now. You don't need an answer to start — only the willingness to listen.

For a specific question, decision, or threshold. We meet more frequently for a season, until clarity comes.

Some seasons of life press a particular question on us — a vocational shift, a faith reorientation, a relationship at a threshold, a calling to lean into or release. These conversations benefit from a tighter cadence.

A discernment series usually runs three to five sessions, scheduled weekly or biweekly. We use slightly more structure than monthly direction — including some of the classical Ignatian practices of noticing consolation and desolation — to help patterns become visible.

Clarity often comes not as a dramatic answer but as a quiet readiness to take the next faithful step. We'll know together when the work of the series is done.

Half-day or full-day, for groups

Soul care retreats

Length: Four to eight hours together
Format: For small groups, women’s ministries, church staff, mission teams, and organizations. Online or in person.
Best for: Teams and communities — especially those serving in ministry — seeking a held, prayerful pause together.

A guided retreat held for a group — contemplative practices, silence and solitude, and shared reflection.

Built for groups who want to step away together. I guide a held rhythm of spiritual contemplative practices, generous stretches of silence and solitude, and shared reflection times when the group comes back together.

Especially fitting for those who pour out for others — women’s ministries, church staff, mission teams, and parachurch organizations. Also a good rhythm for small groups within a congregation seeking deeper attention together.

We shape the day around your group: the season you are in, what you need to lay down, what you are hoping to listen for. Online retreats include structured silent hours and group check-ins by video; in-person retreats can be held at a location your group arranges.

A note about fees

Spiritual direction is sustaining work for me, and the fees reflect that. They also reflect a commitment to making this practice available across financial seasons.
